Georgetown Front Range Light
Georgetown Front Range Light - The present Georgetown Front Range was built in 1969. It is a fibreglass cylindrical tower painted red with a broad white horizontal band.
At the top there is a modern optic on the seaward side of this cylindrical tower.
It is the only one of this style on Prince Edward Island.
Driving Directions:
Points East Coastal Drive - This Range Light overlooks the Georgetown Harbour in Lower Montague. From Route 17 of Points East Coastal Drive, turn off to Lower Montague and follow the road along the Montague River. Look for the range light as you near a bend in the road.
This light is located on privately owned land.
